Office - IT Analyst

Chicago O'Hare Airport location is seeking an Information Technology Analyst to joint TAS IT Team.?

ORD IT Analyst is responsible for:

  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements.

  • Develop and analyze functional specifications.

  • Design efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs.

  • Coordinate developers to build and implement technology solutions.

  • Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams.

  • Gather feedback from end users about system performance.

  • Plan and oversee projects (e.g. upgrades, hardware/software installations).

  • Provide advice and technical training.

  • Keep abreast of technology trends and developments.

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems, applications and network.

  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

  • Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing, and solving hardware or software faults.

  • Providing and replacing parts as required.

  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant

  • Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.

  • Supporting the rollout of new applications.

  • Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.

  • Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs.

  • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.

  • Defining, configuring and supporting all computer applications.

  • Determining requirements, designs, builds, tests, implements, maintains and enhances business systems.

  • Oversees implementation, support and inventory control of applications and equipment.

  • Evaluates system specifications for business requirements.

  • Works closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs.

  • Monitoring and controlling IT budget.

  • Other duties as assigned.?

  • Function Management Group - Contributes to the development and dissemination of processes and procedures, ensuring execution and maintenance of the Corporate Strategy, through operational group with business mindset and process management support, ensuring the agreed results and delivering the Value Proposition through Best in Class ? BIC corporate project.


Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, 6 years prior Information Technology experience required; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.


  • Spanish / Portuguese is a plus

  • Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations

  • Requires excellent hands on IT skills and knowledge

  • Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology-Ability to prepare presentations

  • Ability to create statistical models to support impact analysis of improvement opportunities provide data analysis??

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new topics quickly and independently

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

  • ADP and Workforce-now Payroll systems

  • MS Outlook Communication Management software

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge on MS Excel Spreadsheet software, including dynamic matrix

  • MS Word software

  • MS PowerPoint Presentation Software

  • Internet Usage (Browsers, Java)

  • Computer setup

  • Windows Usage experience

  • Experience and knowledge of Oracle environment, Windows SQL and Data Base

  • Experience with LANs and WANs administrator environment (CISCO)

  • Experience related to preparation of functional specifications, related to infrastructure and Software customization.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
