Vice President of Operations

JOB DESCRIPTION




  • Liaise with Finance to build and execute annual operating plan


  • Support Finance in month-end close process to ensure expenses and revenues are accurately captured


  • Monitor financial and operational performance of stations throughout the year


  • Identify stations that are deviating from plan and assist GM, Regional Manager, and VP in developing and executing action plans


  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to keep leadership informed of financial and operational performance


  • Oversee manpower and ground equipment planning


  • Develop business cases to support operational decisions


  • Work with all other HDQ organizations to ensure the Operations point of view is represented


  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed




Bachelors degree preferred, or eight or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience . Must have previous operations' and aviation experience. Extensive experience in the logistics' industry, management, leadership, and information systems. Marketing experience helpful. Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of


intellectual and practical problems.


Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.


Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.


Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language. Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
