Job Description

We are seeking a Full time Associate Veterinarian in Lincoln, ME. The veterinarian will see a variety of emergency cases, from simple to complex.


The hospital offers an excellent practice culture where every level of employee/position within the practice is engaged in the process. Veterinarians are willing to help one another, especially with mentoring.


The practice believes in preventative veterinary care and will partner with clients for the life of their pets! The practice provides complete wellness care, including vaccines, heartworm testing, flea and tick preventatives, spay, neuter, animal dentistry, and other services designed to keep pets healthy. In addition, this Hospital is equipped to handle emergencies, sick patients, hospitalization, and many soft tissues and orthopedic surgeries.


Must be willing to relocate to Lincoln, ME


Requirements:



  • Licensed veterinarian in ME or ability to be licensed in ME

  • Excellent communication skill

  • Computer literate

  • Ability to work as sole veterinarian


Responsibilities:



  • Typical job description for a small animal general veterinarian

  • Physical Exams of patients

  • Surgical and dental procedures

  • Daily in-patent supervision of hospitalized pets

  • Communicate with clients

  • Direct and supervise technical team

  • Patient record keeping

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
