candidate can be in Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, or Miami Director of Sales The Director of (Hispanic Channel) Sales will be responsible for leading the regional sales team and function, and interfacing with the key customers. He/she will be responsible for the strategy development as well as the execution. The sales leader will need to be able to retain and build a strong team and provide the team with the tools to execute the strategy flawlessly to build a sustainable growth model. This person will be a senior leader in the organization and will need to effectively interface with the other functional leaders in the organization as well as the COO. This position is primarily responsible for achieving the growth objectives for the company in the Hispanic marketplace. Director of Sales Responsibilities Grow sales of the company's branded products in the Hispanic market channel in targeted regions throughout the United States Develop and execute annual and long term strategic sales plans for existing and new business within the framework of the corporate strategy Strategic interface with major and critical customers and the ability to impact the decision-makers at each key customer Oversee the members of the Company's regional sales team as well as outside providers such as brokers Work closely with marketing and operations functions on new product development and opportunities and the management of the Company's product categories Manage the regional sales function expense budget Director of Sales Requirements Experience and proven in a sales leadership role, with direct management experience Proven success at growing sales for an emerging or smaller CPG brand in the Hispanic channel Bachelors degree, and minimum of five years successful experience in sales to the Hispanic grocery channel Experience in managing brokers (or at a minimum third party sales forces/merchandisers) Demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a lean environment Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, with excellent ability to read and write in English Ability to travel at least 50% of the time Director of Sales Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision 401K with company match Life Insurance
Salary Range:
$150K -- $190K
Minimum Qualification
